What is the vision I have for my life? THE PROCLAMATION

Both the Irish rebels and the Catholic apostles set out with a clear vision of what they wanted to achieve (Proclamation of the Irish Republic). Without a defined objective, any mission lacks purpose. I therefore need a vision for my own life, a personal proclamation of what I intend to accomplish. One that is grounded in my core values and long-term goals. Only with that clarity can I move forward with the same resolve and direction that drove them.

The proclamation

The vision for my life is to become a weapon of God while living up to the sacrifice mentality and discipline of the Irish. By placing the highest importance on discipline in daily life, I become the person I am destined to be. I will accept every situation God sends me as a challenge and face it head-on, knowing these trials are given to test my response and learn. In doing so, I grow into someone who lives with purpose in every part of life and therefore lives to the fullest of my potential.

I will train for the life I want by maintaining my health so I can meet everyday demands and fulfil the obligations expected of me, while also positioning myself to achieve the goals I set. This requires discipline in all areas of daily life, from what I eat to prevent continuing gluttony to performing daily fitness activities so I become a person of strength. By holding myself to these daily acts of discipline, I establish a firm standard of expectations for myself and my life.

I will also put accountability measures in place to assess my effort and correct any acts of weakness within me. In this way, failure can be addressed and resolved. Here’s to the destiny I am being called to.
