Electric Bike | My Own Transport

I’ve decided its time to sort out my own transport so, I’ve bought an electric bike. I don't drive so, I’ve always felt like a bit of a burden on everyone around me and I’m tired of waiting for lifts.

Many can be pricey, around £2,500. But I did find one for £999, not including the bike bag and rack, which was about another £200. I’m five feet one ( 155cm ), so I deliberately choose a step-through frame model. One without a central bar that would usually extend from the saddle pole to the handle bar. Therefore, I shouldn't have any trouble comfortably putting both feet flat on the ground when I stop.

I was expecting a two month wait but, the bike arrived early. I woke up the next day to it assembled and ready to go. My family built it while I was asleep. I felt like a teenager waking up to a shock on Christmas morning and was grinning all day about it. I haven’t rode a bike in years. Therefore, there will be plenty of verbal stress while laughing at my mistakes but, that’s what’s involved in learning. Can’t wait to get going.
